Turning Up The Volume on the 'Lost In Translation' Whisper
This is for the fellow fans of the film 'Lost In Translation'. What did Bill Murray whisper to Scarlett Johansson at the end of the movie? Someone digitized and amplified the audio to reveal the what was said. Awwww...I love this movie!

A Blaster Shot of Christmas Cheer
If Bea Arthur singing a Christmas-y song in a cantina on Tatooine (you know - Luke Skywalker's home planet), doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit then nothing will. The clip from the the Star Wars Christmas Special that George Lucas wishes we would all forget ever existed.

Even More Live Music This Weekend
Another friend of Harvard Avenue, Ears&Eyes Records, are having their 2nd Annual Ears And Eyes Festival this weekend at Subterranean in Chicago. Bigger than last year, there's more bands and visual artists than you can shake a stick at! Check out the listing below and/or go to the Ears And Eyes Festival site for more details.

Exciting news for fans of The Tuscan Market and Wine Shop, which includes us (another Turkey Panini and White Bean Salad please!).
From their emailed announcement:
The BIG NEWS!
Last week The Tuscan Market and Wine Shop secured our Class E Alcohol License (sounds big huh?). This is pretty cool for all of us because now, not only can you taste wine (which we will be doing more of), you can come in and grab a bite to eat and enjoy a glass of wine or beer while you relax. This is a grand event and is one that we need to really start to enjoy. Our hope is that more of you would like to come to Tuscan (over a restaurant) on occasion and take advantage of our unique and inviting setting. After the holidays, the area up the ramp will return to a nice dining area (currently, it is gift basket central). We have high hopes of making Tuscan a true destination for many more people over the coming months.
Other BIG NEWS!
Thursday Night Out
Beginning this Thursday, December 6, 2007, Tuscan Market will be the place to come on Thursday Nights. Every Thursday Night from 7:30-9pm there will be a tasting event held at the store. Our goal is to provide these for free, but there will be occasion where there is a small fee (when we have chocolate or cheese). If you need an excuse to get out of the house or to gather with a few friends, you work is done. This Thursday we will be conducting a Vineyard tasting with Vineyard Rep Steve from J. Lohr. Each Thursday night in December has been scheduled with a tasting and we will send more details in the weekly email!
Cool Beans Guys! Thursday is a yoga night, but we might be able to do a quick shower and swing in for the weekly festivities.
For those of you who haven't been or don't know where Tuscan Market is, they're located at 141 W Wing St in Downtown Arlington Heights; next to Washington Mutual and across the street from the (Tylenol) Jewel.

On top of Mizzou losing last night to Oklahoma, they played like crap in the second half. We hung in their until the end; grumbling all the way through. Inga is taking solace in the victory over KU on national television.
There is of course a reason for their loss - the Sports Illustrated cover curse! It did in KU the week before and a better Missouri team this week! Ok, I'm kidding, that's a cop out - they just ran out of steam. Let's see what bowl they get and hope for great things next year. This run should help recruiting at the very least.

Every male of my age group was touched in some way by the exploits of Evel Knievel. Jumping a row of things became commonplace in our play.
Here's a eulogy by uber-artist, Coop.
