The Golem / Black Francis
Black Francis (aka Frank Black, Charles Thompson) created a soundtrack for the silent film The Golem for the 2008 San Francisco International Film Festival. With the release of a boxed set of the film (have my copy already), the entire movie with the Black Francis soundtrack has been put on YouTube. Here are some samples (below) - an old school fantasy flick. I'm making my way through the film piece by piece. Musically, I didn't know what to expect, but it rocks more than I thought it would.
