Arlington Heights Ranks 8th in Environmental Study
[via - VAH.com] According to the Smarter Cities study by the National Resource Defense Council, which measures the environmental sustainability of a community; Arlington Heights ranks #8 out of 408 small cities (pop. 50K to 90K) across the U.S.
Looking at a breakdown of the study, it looks like our top assets are our 'Green Space', 'Recycling' and 'Environmental Standards and Participation'. Arlington Heights was in the Top 10 overall in regards to Green Space.
