Rough Day In A.H.
Looks like today was a rough day in downtown Arlington Heights.
A friend of mine stopped by the office this afternoon and said that he walked into the downtown Blockbuster Video right after it had been robbed. No info to pass along as the clerk was too shaken to say much...surprised they didn't close the store for a little while.
At rush hour, I can only assume that a pedestrian lost a race with a Metra train just outside the station. The police had the Vail St. crossing closed and had a wide area taped off with a full complement of emergency vehicles present. After yoga, things were still closed off. Lots of commuters walking around as trains looked to be backed up with delays.
Have to see what details pop up tomorrow.
