The Cheap Date Show
Last week, I received an email 'Hello' from a fellow Arlington Heights blogger, Joe Lynn. Always good to hear from another blogger in the neighborhood.
Since then, I've become the latest fan of the Cheap Date Show podcast that he puts together with his girl-friend Lisa. As the name suggests, the podcast focuses on cheap eats in the Chicagoland area as well as fun things to do and other assorted tangents. Joe and Lisa sound like they're having a good time doing the show and in turn, makes the podcast fun to listen to.
I'm slowly making my way through the archives as they have been to a bunch of places I have been wanting to try. I've also been comparing their opinions of places that Inga and I have been to as well. So far, it seems like our dining tastes are pretty close. There's a list of restaurants that they've visited on their site so you can go straight to the episode with the place you are interested in. All in all - pretty cool.
