The Arlington Heights Song
From the Daily Herald comes the story of 'The Arlington Heights Song'. Local musician and jingle writer, Roger Bain wrote the song in 2002 and passed it out to various village officials and merchants. The song resurfaced this year when the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce used it for their on hold music.
'The Arlington Heights Song' is corny and grating (what's the obsession with white teeth), but it is dangerously catchy. I never thought words 'Arlington Heights' would ever work in a song and you'll find yourself singing the chorus over and over whether you like it or not.
